This design was developed for our current design studio, Shop. In 2010, we decided to close our small design studio, eljl, bring on a partner and reinvent ourselves.
The work we are doing with Shop would be much more hands-on and a greater blend of traditional and digital design than our previous endeavor. As such, we wanted the design of the Shop website to reflect a more gritty, urban feel that reinfornces that hands-on approach.
The site was designed on the flexible 960 grid system to provide a unified look and underlying structure.
