I have come to the end of the first phase of the version 2 release of webclique. My initial goal was to achieve a new design and get three pages up: the weblog, about page and contact form. The nice thing is that with just those three pages webclique actually ends up being about 66% larger than the 1.75 version.

I ended up moving in a very minimalist direction, which in the end I’m very content with. Stark typography on a basic white background; is there anything finer? It’s my version of clean. 

Of course, this project is far from over. There is plenty more work and tweaking that needs to take place. In the near future I plan on adding additional pages which will constitute a phase 2 of this project. While I still have some fine tuning to do with the css and the upcoming work on a phase 2, the overall the site is functional, and in the end that’s what I was aiming for.
