One day past the CSS Reboot competition and the successful relaunch of the new version of webclique. I just looked in at my account on the Reboot site to see if anyone had posted any comments on my redesign. So far nothing, but that’s okay; I respect the silence. I, on the other hand, have already grown attached to the new look and feel and find myself coming back to it a couple of times a day just to look it over and make minor tweaks here and there.

What feels best about this whole experience is just having something personal and fresh up on the web. It’s so easy to let yourself as a designer get inundated with other people’s work and the process of chasing paper that you let your own endeavors slip by the wayside. Sometimes you need a project like this to remind you that you’re world is a little larger than someone else’s deadlines.
