I was mildly surprised to find out that my first article for A List Apart, The ALA Primer: A Guide for New Readers, has been translated into Italian. I actually found it quite by accident through a random search. 

I don’t know much Italian, but I can tell that the article has been edited down and reorganized a bit. I imagine the edit was due to the original length of the piece as I tend to be quite wordy when I write. The article’s formatting is a bit off in several areas on the page, and my author photo has been shoved into the lower right half of the bio which looks a bit wonky.

This marks the first time a piece I’ve authored has been translated into a language other than English. As an author that’s a milestone accomplishment. You can see the edited piece here.
