Since implementing Wordpress as the backend of webclique I have been receiving quite a bit of spam in my comments section. They’ve mainly been Viagra ads and RX ordering schemes. I think in the whole four years I was working with Blogger I had maybe one spam comment come through, so this is quite a new experience. 

Thankfully, I have a moderator setup for each comment that comes through, so I’m able to accept or deny any comments based on their content. The only thing that’s a bummer is having to spend time deleting each piece of spam that ends up awaiting moderation. I guess I could just let them all go through and become the pre-eminent supplier for Viagra on the West Coast. Perhaps that would boost my readership on the site (even if it would be the 50+ set.)
