Following in the magnanimous steps of organizations like AIGA, A List Apart has published its first survey on web trends. This particular survey is geared towards the web professional in the current market place. When compiled it will provide an in depth look into the current climate in the web design industry by state and region. To my knowledge there’s not been a comprehensive snapshot like this compiled to date. The results should be fascinating and insightful. 

If you’re currently working in the field of web design or development please head over to ALA and take the survey. The more participants that take this the better. If done properly it could give designers and developers a powerful tool with which to chart and compare our current location / situation within the market. This survey is only open for a about a week, so head over and let your voice be heard.
