My wife decided to take her love for sewing and doll making to the next level and formed a company called, “Dolls for Friends”. She’s now in the process of working out her production methods, which will hopefully lead to some marketing efforts in the next couple of months. 

While we’re working up a plan she’s also embarked on a series of handmade, one of a kind dolls that we’ll be mailing to close friends and acquaintances. In addition, she’s also started using Flickr as a source of images for her work.

My doll (Eight Ball, pictured above) was one of the first to be completed, and he quickly took up his rightful place as my studio mascot. He now sits up on my bookcase, guarding my “to be read” stacks and glares at Klee, my other cat (who is also pictured above).
