On the Block

Onee Chan Onee Chan Onee Chan

Update: Onee Chan was sold along with all of the other goodies at the Cartoon Network auction. Since it was a silent auction we have no idea who it was sold to or for how much, so I have been checking every few days to see if someone posted the purchase online. Sadly, there has been nothing yet.

Jill has just entered her newest Doll for Friends into the upcoming Cartoon Network Special Art Auction to benefit the Family Service Agency of Burbank. Onee Chan (big sister) made her way down the West Coast this week, and she has now officially taken up her place as auction item #105 on the block. She will have a starting bid of $10.00, and she’s worth every penny in sheer cuteness.

If you have a few minutes, head on over to the site and check out all the cool artwork that was submitted for this worthwhile cause. If you’re so inclined and you have the extra scratch, why not pick up a little bauble that you can show to all your friends. Remember, art is nice, but original art is king.

This is the second auction that Cartoon Network has done, and the first year they have opened it up to the public. All donations will be auctioned off this coming Saturday, June 30, with all proceeds going to support the FSAB. Big thanks to the network for giving everyone an opportunity to get a little more exposure.
