We just completed the first phase of the Dolls for Friends website, our new project in which we create felt goodies, send them out as gifts and sell them as nifty keepsakes for the general public. This version of the DFF website covers the development of our news section along with a minimal navigation and information section. 

The news site will eventually become part of a larger, more elaborate site, which is currently in its early development phase. We decided to go with Wordpress for the site as we’re using it on several other projects at this point. As always we’re using XHTML and CSS to control the look and feel of the site. While there’re still some cross-browser issues and a couple of persistent validation problems we’re working through, the majority of the site is tight and works like a champ.
